Keypoint CU

My friend is a member has a savings account She applied for a credit card , got the docs to sign and showed instant approval for 20K . Then literally 15 minutes she gets an email denied 😳She checked her status again and it went from approved to declined .

Well cross that off my list , what a terrible way to run a CU. I saw her instant approval status as well .

Re: Keypoint CU

Well what an absolute bummer that is.

Not sure who else does this, but I take screenshots of all my apps throughout the process just on the off-chance to avoid any snags should the process get wonky; (their website times out/freezes, error messages that could occur, etc etc).

I hope that she's able to get to the bottom of it, but that would scare me off from considering them, too.

Re: Keypoint CU

Few CU's certainly have been known to do this.   Usually automated system approves it then UW reviews it and sees too much available credit or similar things then turns to decline.  Believe this has been known to happen with Langley, Addition and  sure missing many others

I am sure there quite a few out there, I just have never experienced that with CUs. But this definitely takes them off my list .
