Hello,

Had my card since March at $300 with an increase to $700 in August.
Does any one know how often you'll get an increase?
Is it automatic or do I have to ask like I did belore.
My statement cuts 2/24...thank you...

Starting scores 1/2015 TU 568 EQ 600 EX 600

I was able to request credit limit increases on my Kohl's card every 4 months.  Don't know if that still applies as I reached the maximum amount several months ago.

You can get a CLI  every 3 months.  I know this because if you go online to your account and hit "increase my limit" if you had your last increase in less than 3 months, it will say you're not eligible because it's been less than 3 months.  My DH has been getting a CLI  3 months and l day after the last.  It's a sp also.  I believe the maximum credit line is $3,000.  Give it a shot and good luck!

Why would you say you reached the max a while ago?  I've seen CL's for Kohls over 3K? I'm a mortgage underwriter so I look at credit everyday.

Ok..I gave them a call.
It's under review...this is unusual?

I thought they would let you know automatically.

My score was 568 w/TU when opened.
1st increase my TU score was 647 ..now its 662

You do it online.  And it's an immediate denial or you get the increase.

Not sure who issed Kohl's before Capitalone? but many posters on have have received letters from capitalone kohls saying they can't get anymore because the policy is 3k max limit. Maybe people who have had kohls cards for a long, long time have higher CL's that never got cut?

If you have your Kohl's account setup online, on the main page where you see your credit limit, look all the way to the right.  It will say "Request Credit Line Increase".  Hit that, and it may ask your yearly income.  Fill in what is needed, and hit the button.  It will either be an immediate increase or a denial.  Even though you have called customer service, you can still go to your online account and ask for the CLI.

I'm about to enter my 5th month since hitting $3k and increases have stopped. Others on the forum have reported nothing over $3k with stronger profiles than myself. Nice to know that it can 0otentially grow higher.

Actually, I read your post wrong...lol  I thought you said you maxed out at $700.00.  Whoops.  Long day!
