LLBean Shopping Cart Trick

Again just wanted to share another card that let you know if you are prequalified when you try to check out.

llbean.com.  Again, I don't know if it's a soft pull or a hard pull, but its a good way to see if you qualify before you apply.  LLbean is issued by Barclays Bank.

Re: LLBean Shopping Cart Trick

seen the pop-up before, but never with pre-qualified/approved language in it... strange.

Re: LLBean Shopping Cart Trick

It's popped for me before (i.e. pre-qualified) but I didn't take the offer. They're not very common.

Re: LLBean Shopping Cart Trick

As finstar stated it would be a HP and if scores are current in your signature I would tend to shy away.

Wow, very interesting! I have never seen it say prequalified before! Definitely a hard pull but at least you will get it.

EDIT: i didnt notice those scores, so I am not sure.

Re: LLBean Shopping Cart Trick

I got the same message, not that I'm interested in applying. However, when you check the pricing and terms, there is no specific apr given. Safe to assume, it's nothing more than a marketing tool?

Re: LLBean Shopping Cart Trick

It might, not sure. Just comparing to all the other pre-qual sites, where a pre-qual is pretty much a given if they give you a specific apr. I already have two Barclay Cards and am content. You gonna go for it, CA?
