Do note that the HUCA as @Remedios pointed out is no longer valid.  Also the 5/24 question is no longer valid, as there are no cards left that are exempt.  Start with the we'll let you know in 30 days part on the left.

Call and follow prompts for application status. Do not push any buttons to talk to human, just prompts to check status.

Re: Looking to get a CSP.

Good luck OP. You still have a chance at approval. If you get a denial, 1 inquiry on two credit bureaus really isn't the end of the world. It obviously not ideal, but it happens to everyone. Lot of things learned here at the expense of an inquiry. Myself personally, I was denied for a Chase Freedom several months before being approved for a CSP.

Well this is a fun one, it says I have 2 applications because they must have did something to get me into a preferred card.

1 application says 2 weeks and the other says 7-10 days. I only have one HP and now two applications. Soooo it looks like time is just going to sort this whole mess out.

Since I'm self employed they did go through my YTD for this year, asked my numbers of my previous years. Asked what made my numbers increase so much. (because my business has increased 100% each year) They asked why my credit history was so young and they also asked about why I needed a card.

I'm currently all over the picture K sent so I'm not sure what direction I'm going. Lol

You're doing fine.

It may take another day to learn if another HP was taken, but don't sweat that.

Given the 7-10 and 14 day messages it sounds like an impending denial for the CSR and a recommendation made for approval for the CSP pending a final review.

Don't celebrate yet because a 14 day notice doesn't always translate into an approval but you should be feeling pretty positive right now.

Yep, I agree that sounds like one denial and one pending.  We all have our fingers crossed for you!

Re: Looking to get a CSP.

@Remedios

This is basically the best outcome so far. Due to the fact it is split up into two applications shows that a preferred application is in the works. But due to two applications that could be a big issue.

I did let them know that I made a mistake and realized afterward that a CSR wasn't for me. I knew a 5k CL on CSP was something was more fitting and didn't realize that was a 10k CL card.

Either way I have ran the gambit of application process, recon and putting my best foot forward. If it doesn't happen it doesn't but at least I had all the numbers and reasons for them. I made my best showing.

Also I'm a glass half empty type of guy so I'm not counting any chickens. So at least I won't be as butthurt as yesterday. 😂

You did good.

Don't worry about feeling butthurt, I wanted to throw eggs at their stupid branch.
