Lowe's card application

I applied for a Lowe's card about two weeks ago now and received the 7-10 day message. While I know this is usually a denial, I have not received anything from them in the mail or otherwise... Does anyone know if there is a way to check the status?

Just called and got a big fat denial, which is what I was expecting, but I hate waiting. It's likely due to too many recent inquiries, but he couldn't tell me why on the phone. I'm guessing my odds of approval with them are slim to none...

I understand, I was denied as well not too long ago for the Lowe's card. I am going to wait until this summer and try again. I have some outside gardening work that needs to be done.

We need a privacy fence and a few other things, I'll just wait until the extra 5% kicks in on my Discover card and use it plus my dad's military discount to get the best deal. I did apply for the Home Depot card and got approved for it, so there's that...

Had the same thing happen to me. I app'd twice and got the 7-10 day message with ultimate denials. Was looking to buy a garden tractor and wanted the card for other stuff as well so I went into the store (as many have suggested) and BAM! got $1500. Stepped outside and called CS for a CLI and was denied (I try every few days and still get denied. Don't know what has happened to our relationship! We were on such good terms and now she won't even return my calls. LOL) My scores are on par with yours.
