My mom did the online synchrony Lowes Prequal - came back with 7,000 prequal with APR
She accepted and it went to 7-10 days for ID Verification. Verify.syf.com
She failed ID Verification, unsure why maybe her license was too glossy.
Tried calling backdoor # - no go since the ID Verify failed.
Is she able to apply instore today - or does she have to wait a certain amount of time?

She has to wait at least 30 days to reapply. Otherwise, if she applies today in the store, it will be auto-declined.
she unfroze Experian, Equifax, Transunion, Lexis Nexus, and SageStream

You've covered pretty much the 5 main ones at the top. They don't check ChexSystems unless she's applying for a SYNCB deposit product. So, just ensure those are unfrozen when she's ready to reapply and receives a decision. Once a decision is made, she can freeze again.
Anyone know if applying in store bs online is better for identity verification

Applying in-store provides a better process for ID verification than online. I'm assuming she hasn't relocated/moved recently, correct?
Is 17 years same address too much? Lol

That should do the trick. I'm just wondering on the specifics that made the ID verification fail initially. I recall a member providing some DPs about being able to have the ID situation/denial overturned, maybe worth a try.
Below is the link for your reference:
She decided to go into the store and apply today
defiantly more security questions. Mothers maidan name etc. doesn't ask that online
declined
she has yet to see any credit hard pull from yesterday nor today

Did you share with your family member what was posted in message/post #2? I'd be curious to learn whether the letter states anything different than the first attempt.
