I have lurking for a few years! I started at 534 after cosigning and letting someone DESTROY my credit. After tons of research, hours of reading forums, I am now happy with where I am. Recently, I have had jaw dropping approvals. I've been with USAA for over 8 years and have NEVER been approved for any credit cards. I purchased a vehicle 2 weeks ago and found out im sitting above 700 (FINALLY). After 6 shots of liquid courage and noticing I had a preapproval for an auto loan under my offers, I decided to take the plunge and app for a USAA Cashback Rewards Plus American Express USAA credit card! I tried to cancel but it was too late after I hit the button; INSTANTLY approved
