Macy's Store Card CLI?

My SO has had this card since 12/14 used it a few times and paid it on time. SL was $600 (really low considering her lowest CL at that time was $1,900) but okay.

Just requested a CLI to $1,000 do you think it'll be approved with not much use over the last 18 months or so?

Re: Macy's Store Card CLI?

sure, approval is based on credit profile and score. Could of probably requested more and receive a counter offer.

Me:

SL 600

1month later 10k

very next month 20k

Going to ask for 30k soon.

Didn't want to ask for an amount they'd do a HP on we're in the process of buying a house and it's not that important she just didn't want a card under $1,000 in her portfolio.

Archange1, I'm curious as to whether you received a HP when requesting your Macy's CLI's so close together? I received my 1st increase 4 months ago, and wanted to request another.  But, I wasn't sure what the average SP request cycle with Macy's is.  The CLI I received a few months back didn't trigger a HP and I'm hoping to keep it that way! Thanks in advance!

Current Fico 8 Scores 11/25: TU FICO: 604 | EX FICO: 555 | EQ FICO: 548. Cap One QS Secured: $200 | Williams Sonoma Visa Signature $500 | Open Sky Secured $500 | Destiny MC $1K | Indigo MC $1K

Yes, I did receive a hardpull. However, you can use a softpull if they have one on file.

Thanks so much for the tip! I called and was able to get SP CLIs on both my Macy's and Bloomie's today!  Not anywhere close to your limits, but it's okay. I know it has a lot to do with the fact that my Citi Brooks Brothers MC had gone 60 days late a few years ago right before entering CCCS.  Since DSNB is affiliated with Citi, I couldn't get them to budge on increasing my Macy's or approving a Bloomie's card until they were completely paid off.  Hopefully with a little more time the limits will grow like yours!
