Macys credit card application

Hello everbody and Happy New year

I apply today for Macys card online and a message ask me to call them appear with ref number.

I called and the lady ask me some questions to verify information ,

Then she told me that my application is in processing and will receive something in 7-10 days .

She also said that I can call back if I want more information.

Is that good or bad?

on a positive note, it is not an instant denial .. or does not appear to be.

This is just standard processing whenever an instant decision couldn't be reached.  Just wait for any correspondence via mail to learn the outcome of the application.
