Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
good evening,
I'm relatively new to the forum, trying to increase my post count while offering data points that hopefully help. I am grateful for all of the helpful information I have taken away from this site.
regarding the credit monitoring sites that push partner adverts for credit cards by offering odds of approval and estimated spending limits.
CreditSesame is telling me that AMEX BCE odds are "Very Good" as well as Chase Freedom. I have both of these cards already. I thought CS should know this from my credit profile....
Discover and Chase Freedom Unlimited are cards that are also "good and very good" respectively. with limits averaging $2200 and $3000, respectively, and for CFU "users like you $3659".
Anyone who used CS knows what I'm describing. For anyone wondering how the paid advertisements compare to the real world -
DiscoverIT - approved $7500
Chase Freedom Unlimited - approved $5600
I'm going to be sharing a lot of data on recent experiences hoping I can get my post count up and then befriend someone who can help me with my signature once I'm allowed to use HTML and add the necessaries......
CK and CS and sites similiar and just selling advertisement space plain and simple. I hold ZERO stock in their so called cards your "odds" to be approved for , it's all marketing.
thought it would go without saying that approval odds are not real provided the wealth of information available on this site and others about free credit score/card marketing sites. Was trying to add data to support that concept and I thought it was clear. But you guys are the experts, to get my point across should I start a post "CreditSesame is rubbish, here's why"?
I like the new title better. But I also like this one. Either way I'll follow along, not being an "expert" and all.
