NASA FCU - Savings and CC application

So I decided to join NASA FCU since its close by me.  I wanted to open an savings account here.  Well Im kind of mad at myself now, I also applied for a cc and Im suppose to be gardening for 6 months.  The only reason I did was because I read in the myFICO they only do SP's.  Well I think I was reading older posts because the most recent posts seemed to be getting denied for higher scores than mine and they are now doing HP's

I applied over the weekend and both of my apps still say pending and they did a HP of EX.  I hope they don't do anymore HP's??     I had 8 inqs on my EX and 4 are about to fall off.  

I will post if the decline or approve hopefully today.

Can any recent app's post here how many NASA HP"s they received?

You were supposed to wait for membership to be approved and then app CC. Is that what you did?
You can still be approved. It's common for that app to show pending. UW probably hasn't looked over your application yet.

HMM I thought I read somewhere you can apply all at the same time.

Well anyways I was declined due to the following reasons:

Collection action or judgment. Insufficient Number of Satisfactory Trades with Required Time in File Number of recent inquiries on credit bureau report.

But my savings account/membership is still pending?

So should I try for a reconsideration?  Or is it going to be a no due to my recent credit spree?

You'll still get the membership if you want it. I haven't seen many recons with NASA.Yeah with what they've listed I wouldn't waste your time. Wait till some baddies fall off and the inqs age before trying again.

Yeah, I still want the savings account there.  I would like to build a relationship with them and they are conveintly close by.

Maybe I will try again in 6 months.    Even though I knew better not to apply it was kind of depressing to see the declined.

Well its back in the garden  and I am going to build my other cards for now.
