i just joined but, didn't apply for any type of loan or CC, plan to wait until new TLs show up on CRs, especially new(1984) Amex.
I'm wondering if anyone got pop-up/offers when they joined?
My CCMP Ex is 650 but, I don't know the real FICO score
I'm a cardholder, so this might not apply to you, but all product promos have been through email, or snailmail from them in my case.
Thanks for the info
My membership/account was instantly approved but, I'm sure that has no bearing on CC approvals.

Not sure if they look at Chex, or anything else. CC's are a different animal. Feel confident on an app?
My Chex is clean.
Confident? LOL, no. Have many new CCs that should appear in the next 30 days or so with 20+ INQs, my CLs will increase 10 fold and my AAoA will increase 30%
I don't remember seeing any offers when I signed up.
I hear that NASA goodness has dried up now though and that not as many people are getting approved, and the ones that are aren't getting great limits.
Received an AAN letter yesterday from Macys with my Ex 691 and account is too new so, I pulled the trigger on CC app this AM, got the "your application is being reviewed".
Keeping my fingers crossed!
NASA does do the Chexsystem thing because my mother was denied a membership due to such. I wish I had read more of this forum before I got a handful of cards because my new CU accounts have only offered me pre-approvals for automotive loans. The best service I have received so far has come from NAVY FCU. I'm talking 5 days after oepning an account I had my ATM card then a rep called me and asked if I wanted to open a checking account. 3 days later and there's my new Visa debit card. After more than a month of being approved as a member I have no ATM cards for SDFCU, DCU, or NASA. Like you, I will wait on pre-approval offers through either email or snail mail. NAVY would have been my first credit card app had I known. Apparently, I was late to the NASA party.

Ah yes, NFCU would be great if I were eligible. I remain insulted that I'm a Navy vet but, that's insufficient for membership and I'm not encouraging my son's to join until they graduate and get a commission
Damn!
Missed a call at home today from 703 areacode, my wife answered but, when she asked who was calling they hung up. Odd, if it was Nasa
