I have a NFCU account and visa. I received an email 6 days ago from Navy, "You’re pre-selected for the More Rewards Card... Get the all-new Navy Federal More Rewards American Express® Card and enjoy a 0% intro APR on balance transfers for 12 months" and it has a promo code.
I'd like to apply for this card, however none of the links in the email work in Safari or in Chrome. If I log into my account, then go to look at products, I don't see this offer or terms. Anyone know how I can respond to a prescreened offer from NFCU without using the link in the email?
Also, assuming I can get this to work, should I request an increase on the visa the same day? Navy is so HP happy, so I'm doubting that would even help.
When was the last AR? I was denied NFCU platinum when it had 0% balance transfer offer in September and i was told that i reached their internal limit with my NFCU cash rewards visa sig card. The same month i had received 1500 cli from 14300 making it 15500. But then in october , on 13th i cold apped for NFCU more amex just the day after they offered 25000 bonus points and got instant approval for 9700 @ 15.49%. With the bonus offer!. I realized this must be something to do with AR. Denied for platinum on september 8th , approved for NFCU amex by the system on october 13th. Now i am really glad that i was denied for the platinum hehe! Probably it would have been difficult to get AMEX then. So, you are saying that AR is next week? How does this work. They do it what every two months?
Yes every other month
Yeah listen to Joe ..AR should be next week!

Remember the AR should be next week so your best shot at sp cli might be to try then. Those pre selected emails , i would just move cautiously as many have tried for tge new Navy Amex and have been turned down . Nothing is set in stone though
Hey Joe! Should I try to a CLI if my score dropped since the last AR? (Balances went from 0% to 13%) Or should I wait for the next AR in March when my util will be back below 5%?
