NFCU Application

So today I apped for the NFCU Rewards card and got the dreaded 3-5 day message. I then apped for the LOC/NAVCHECK after just opening my checking acct. Submitted it with 15k amount and BAM APPROVED!!! I about fell out of my chair when I saw that. I only have an auto loan reporting and a secured card with a $600 limit on it. I also had a repo in early 2013.

Any ideas if they will approve the CC with my scores listed below in my signature and the 15k NAVCHECK approval?

Thanks in advance.

What was the income you stated on your app?

i was given $500 after my bk.... Scores around 550. I was denied and had to recon but I was denied the loc, even after recon.

Kinda standard with Navy...especially with new accounts. I got the same message and was later approved.

Re: NFCU Application

So NFCU approved the Cash rewards card with a 500.00 limit. I am wondering if I should recon that or just use and PIF several times a month and wait 3 months to do a CLI. Creditaddict where are you with your excellent NFCU advice?! lol

Doesn't hurt to do a recon via secured message.  You can always still do the 3 month CLI request.  With your current scores they might give you a slightly higher limit now but I wouldn't expect too much.
