So I received my snail mail decision from NFCU from a CC CLI request from last week. Not what I expected, the letter says "NFCU is missing title and/or promissory note for existing NFCU loan" as the reason. NFCU requested an updated title with them as the lien holders for a car loan that is over two years old and will be paid off in about 6 months. Since it is being paid in full relatively soon and DMV didn't respond to my requests I let it drop. Regret that now though!! I'll get them the title and try again a few months down the road. Figured I'd share the reason in case no one has come across this before.
