NFCU Cards & Cap Pre-Approval

@wxman2021 NFCU is a great choice, I joined the NFCU family in 4/2021, plus I signed my daughter up (who is rebuilding her credit/score 577); NFCU gave her an unsecured card with a low SL also.  @Brian_Earl_Spilner  started a NFCU thread -and- it can be found here . There's a ton of great NFCU information . . . I hope this helps!!!

Wait for the outcome of your NFCU application.  Capital One isn't going away soon and it's possible the NFCU result may trigger a change in your outlook.

@coldfusion Thank you!  I am going to wait, thank you for the advice.  My relationship with NFCU will be far greater than the one with Cap 1 I am sure, and I don't want to mess up getting in the door with the secured card.  Maybe I will find out tomorrow, but would guess for sure on Tuesday.

fingers crossed 🤞 tomorrow will be the day I hear back from NFCU on my secured card app.  Its been since Friday, but know its been a holiday weekend..

YAY!!! I just got the email that I was approved for the Secured NFCU card ($300 limit I chose), so I am super excited about that!!  I also took the plunge and got approved for the Quicksilver Card (not the ONE) and it said for good credit.  1.5% Cashback and $0 annual fee and they approved me for $3,000.  

Yall are amazing!  

I know the FICO gods like 3 revolving accounts, my goal is Apple card one day, but fresh out of BK that is a no go...I am perfectly fine with holding tight with these 2 for now,  and will practicing AZEO as welll.  What do yall think?
