NFCU Flagship CLI Max amount CLI

I am going to ask for a CLI on my Flagship card.
I currently have a $15,000 credit limit.
How much should I ask for that will get
approved ?

No one knows, shoot for the moon, if eligble, they will counter. Max cli on Flagship is 80k so you got lots of room to spare

Ok, just went for double my limit.
I asked for $30,000.
The message said that my request was under review.
Any changes will be added to my account.
Is this message good or bad ?

Depends. Should be a hp but maybe uou get the lucky sp. Good luck with the cli. One thing that drives me nuts with Navy is the somewhat lack of communication when one requests something lol. Nail biter for sure

Does anyone think that they will need proof of income, or my request just needs to be reviewed by a credit specialist ?

My general understanding about NFCU is that anything over $25,000 on any card requires POI. However, since the underwriting for the Flagship Rewards card is different, the POI rule may not apply.

Unfortunately, I still haven't heard anything from NFCU concerning my requested credit limit increase request.
No secure messages or email.
I even checked my account and my credit limit is still the same.

Does anyone know how long this may take ?
It's been 24 hrs since my request !

Sometimes when you dont here back from Navy your first sign of rejection will be a nice white envelope sitting in your mailbox.

As mentioned by @AverageJoesCredit, if the CL stays the same for the next couple of days then it's likely looking as declined. That is unless they request POI or additional information to proceed further.

From DPs I've seen, most CLI requests that end up pending are typically resolved within 48-72 hours on average (approved or denied).

Not true.  My Go Rewards was increased to 30k with no POI.
