NFCU Flagship pre approval

I have been a member of NFCU for a few months now and today I get this email. I don't have any cards with Nfcu just a checking and savings. The offer expires Oct 31 and has a promo code.

How reliable are these pre approvals? ?

You should be good to go. I got a Flagship pre-approval message after closing on my mortgage and received a $25k line to start. I'd feel very confident pulling the trigger on that one.

Thanks for the response. I was going hold off on getting a new card this year but after looking over this offer which has an upgraded $600 for 5,000 bonus ($350 for 4,000 is the normal bonus ) plus free Amazon I will definitely be pulling the trigger next month, I will update again next month if approved.

I just got this card today. I did it through the prequalify and got a $25K CL off the bat. What was weird I never get email invites from NFCU, but after getting approved for the flagship I got an email just like yours but for the Amex more rewards card. I wonder if it's worth getting that as well.

@Jimmy7mendoza, Per Navy's rules, you will have to wait 91/3 (91 days and three full statements)

in order to be approved for a second card, or you will be denied and waste a hard pull.
