NFCU Question?

I was recently discharged from my Ch 13 on 7/15 and should close on my new home by 9/20.  I just received a small $1K ($3K to $4K) increase on my Cash Rewards card that I’ve had for about 2yrs (opened as secured and graduated after 5 statements).  Will I have to wait 91 days for another CLI?  FICO 9s for TU and EQ about 725, nothing late for 5 1/2 years, and utilization at 15%.  I would also like to get the Flagship after my loan closes.

Re: NFCU Question?

180 days between CLI requests if you get approved.

Re: NFCU Question?

Mine was an auto CLI.  If this means I’ll have to wait 180 days to be eligible again, then I’d prefer to decline this increase.

Re: NFCU Question?

Hmm I don’t know how it goes with auto CLIs. If NFCU treats auto CLIs the same way they do other CLIs where they give you the most they have available then you’re just going to waste a HP. If the auto CLI precludes you getting another CLI for 180 days like a regular CLI would, you wouldn’t even get a HP.

Re: NFCU Question?

I feel like they told me to take this little increase and go sit down for 6 months.
