My membership and credit card were two TU pulls. The CLOC was EQ pull.
NO on Chexsystems. They generally pull TU for cards, and EQ for LOC, as previously stated. But, if, for example your Eq is feeling very chilly, (like mine is) so to speak, they will pull TU..
I just filed BK on 7/5 and joined NFCU shortly after. They only pulled EQ for my membership but that was due to me wanting a checking accoung with them. I had my husband join as well piggy backing off my joining and they didn't pull anything on him (at least that we've gotten an alert for). When I worked for PenFed they would make sure your credit worthyness for a checking account, so it made sense to me they pulled mine, but not his.

I applied for membership and a card first. There were two TU pulls. A few days later I applied for the CLOC. EQ pull.
When I applied for a CC 6 months ago they pulled my Experian.
When I applied for a refinance 3 months ago they pulled my Experian.
When I applied for a new (used) car loan 2 weeks ago they pulled my TransUnion.
When I spoke wtih a rep, she explained there was nothing they can do, but that she believes that for some reason they pull Exp for new members and TU once you already have bank products with them. Doesn't make sense, but I guess it is what it is.

Well in my case they pulled TU for membership, and then again for CC.
