Nasa FCU question

I joined last week and was instantly approved for membership. I apped for a CC and then it disappeared into the system. I called to check on it on Saturday and the operator let me know it was instant approved for 15k. I asked about a few different things since I was advised it all would be used with the same pull from the membership. She called back on Monday and I went ahead with a PLOC for some smaller home projects and an auto refinance application.

I haven't received any emails, but neither did the credit card app, however she could see the approval in the system. How long does a decision usually take for PLOCs and auto refinances? Is it too needy to call back and ask for status after only 24 hours?

I hope it's that easy for me! I was surprised to hear I got a 15K visa so easily. I'm crossing my fingers the same will happen with the PLOC and the auto refi!

No PLOC and no auto refinance. I'm hoping they don't yank the credit card approval, too. I should hear what the reasons are, but they weren't forthcoming over the phone.

What a bummer. At least it was all soft pulls.

Re: Nasa FCU question

sorry to hear about the ploc and auto-refi.. Least the 15k CC was approved via sp..  Usually takes a few weeks to a month to arrive from what I have heard.. As long as it is funded you are good.

How can I tell if it's funded? It never showed up on my account online. When I click on credit card, it gives me a number but when I click on it, the window closes out super fast. She kept telling me on Monday when I asked, she can definitely see the approval in the system. It's just waiting for VISA to move to the next step.

Not sure to be honest as it has been probably a year since I have been on their site and as you know unless their site has been updated it is a nightmare to navigate.  Hopefully someone else can give you a better answer than myself.. I know there are various stages of approvals.. Sometimes people are instant approved then will be asked for proof of identity/income and what not and sometimes people are pending then approved sometimes..  Typically if I remember right it is Approved -> Funded (funded is the last step).. If you can't see it online you might want to call and ask if it has been funded or waiting on any documentation from yourself?  Just throwing out what I know of them from what I have read and my experience with then in the past although I wasn't approved and shot down within a few days of application being pending status.

She said she saw the instant approval online?

Re: Nasa FCU question

Reading all these threads that say they were approved and then declined is not helping. She did give me my credit line, so maybe that helps. I'm going be biting my nails until it comes.
