So I have 3 Navy Cards and applied for CLI's and was denied because I'm over Navy's unsecured limit....but I'm not!
I thought Navy's unseceured limit is $80K. My sister just got 3 $8k CLI's taking her to $79K. But I'm only around $55K.
Does anyone know what is going on or how to handle it? Thanks for the help in advance!!!!!

Perhaps log into your account and send a secured message?
Was the denial reason "max unsecured credit?" If so, that just means that you are currently at the maximum unsecured credit that Navy is willing to extend to you at this time. PenFed uses the same reason code which can be confusing. AFAIK, their maximum combined unsecured credit limits are still $80k, with $50k max per card except Flagship which is $80k.

It's my understanding that they have different maximums for different people. I.e. the max is personal to you and is based on your profile.

Is she your big sister? If so, there's your problem. She got to the money before you did. Big sisters always get there first.
Is she your little sister? If so, there's your problem. Little sisters always look adorable, and they'll get the money first also.
It's hard having sisters sometimes
