It's marketing for VS 3.0, so I'm sure they get a REAL good deal packaging those junk scores. While it probably costs them more to display FICO.

I think of the fake Rolex watch, compared to the real deal.
Some price difference eh?
Hey! They sold some pretty good Fauxlex knockoffs on Canal St. in NYC. 😂 🤣 @M_Smart007 wrote:

@Anonymous Sadly some places still do use Vantage and some are going to Vantage's newer scoring so it's still relevant just not 75% relevant vs 25% since most use FICO ((not actual figures just giving example))

I'm actually going to close a few junk accounts. I have a credit one that needs to go. I also have an everyday amex that has been stuck at $3k for a year. I've asked for increases but always get denied. Only cards I plan on keeping is my nfcu amex, my disco, target and kohl's. The rest are doing me no good.
Just keep in mind, most lenders algorithms have a way to discount "Boost" in scoring. As they do AU accts.
That's interesting. I kinda wondered about that. I think I've gained about 12-13 points on Experian from using the boost. My current EX score is 692. So even if they minus the boost points, I'd still be just barely in the good range. But is Boost any different from rent reporting agencies or services of that sort ? (Sorry to go off topic)
Thanks for the DP. I personally wouldn't mind if they went with full TU FICO 9 for pulls. TU is consistently my highest score.
I don't care what monthly junk score they give us, as long as they continue to use FICO 8/9 for actual apps/CLIs.
@Anonymousjust because they're showing that VS 3.0 TU score on the dashboard doesn't necessarily mean they'll actually use that score for credit pulls, does it? I mean Disco gives TU score on their monthly statements, but generally pull EX/EQ (at least in my state, last I knew of).
I hope they stick with EQ. Everyone pulls EX or TU for me.

So they got you to?![]()
I guess I really don't have to worry about the HP's anymore, three cards and a $15K CLOC.
@Anonymous wrote:@Anonymous I also got a double pull yesterday. TU and EQ for a CLOC
Yikes!
