@Anonymous Did they say they were moving to transunion for ALL credit decisions? Because that would be ideal for me! I'm wanting to refinance my car to get away from the seriously awful Santander. My score is almost 200 points higher than when I applied for a car loan originally. 😬😬😬
That is what he said. He said they will no longer use any other bureaus except for Transunion. He didn't volunteer this info but when I said I was calling Equifax to find out why I had a fraud alert he said I didn't need to worry about it because in a week to 2 weeks they won't be using Equifax for any credit apps due to them switching their system over to Transunion only. He could have bad intel but he sounded pretty confident to me when he said it.
That's interesting. I called a couple days ago and asked I'm what they pull for auto, and was told Equifax or transunion. Which, previously they said exclusively Equifax. I really hope this is the case. We close on our home on the 16th. I'm hoping to defiance shortly after that.
It sounds like they are in the process of switching to TU.
Have we had any additional confirmation of NFCU switching to TU? If so, any idea of the timeline?

The timeline was roughly two weeks.
Did anyone get confirmation that this finally happened? I opened a new card account and my EQ tanked. I hope they pull TU only now for CLI 91/3...
@Doodles I recently applied for a credit card, line of credit, and car loan through them and they pulled transunion every time.
Awesome! I really appreciate the confirmation. Thank you.
