Re: Navy Federal Datapoints Thread for Membership, CLIs, and Credit Card Products

Was the 3x max CLI in place before the 4K? Does that still stand?

Re: Navy Federal Datapoints Thread for Membership, CLIs, and Credit Card Products

Okay so, I would appreciate some clarification if someone's willing to help me out with this...

-Husband and I both got our first Navy cards 5/27. Was hoping to squeak in our 91/3 for second cards before the current SUBs expire at the end of August.

-According to my math, our 91 days from approval would be 8/26 (have 8/27 marked on calendar for safety, might wait until 8/30 for extra cushion).

-Husband's card cut the first statement 6/4, (only 8 days after getting approved!). Clearly a partial first statement, so his 3rd full statement wouldn't be until 9/4.

-Conclusion for Husband: Won't be eligible for 2nd card until after 9/4, not in time for current SUBs.

-My card cut 1st statement 6/24, 28 days after approval. Is this still considered a partial statement, or is this long enough to count as a full statement?

-If partial, then I'm in same boat as Husband and won't be eligible as I won't be at 3 full until 9/24. If it's considered full, then I'd be at 3 full on 8/24, and 91 days 8/26, therefore squeaking in before end of August SUBs expiration.

Not quite as juicy news as the cli limit going away...but, In case anyone may be interested, if you product change to the Flagship, you can receive the the Amazon Prime annual subscription reimbursement, as that is/was not limited to new accounts.

7/30: Prime subscription charge posted ($129.26)

8/4: Credit posted ($130.00)

3 business days

This is juicy news for me! I hope to eventually PC my card to flagship in another year.  So I hope this is still a feature next year.

Is it possible to request a NFCU CLI if you have an active dispute on one of your CRA's?

I was told on Friday that they not longer perform credit line reallocation or consolidation requests unless you're planning to do a balance transfer.

Just to add my DP's, I was told the very same thing two weeks ago.

Oh no, @M_Smart007 and @KA14 !Smiley Surprised

That is bad news!

I had hoped to do some new cards and eventual CL consolidation later on with Navy.

Fingers crossed that this is temporary or may yield different results with HUCA

$8,000 ! ! ! ! ! ! !

I can confirm what a few others have been experiencing... it seems the max CLI has been increased!  My DW just got a $8k CLI on her NFCU Plat card.  Will post over in the Approvals section in a moment for more info.

Thanks Navy!

Re: Navy Federal Datapoints Thread for Membership, CLIs, and Credit Card Products

I have never asked for a CLI and tried by online today. Once I completed all the information and hit submit. I got a error code saying that they are trying to fix the problem and it locked me out of my account.

Has that happened to anyone. I never received an email or any notification after I attempted for a credit limit increase.

What actually happens after you hit the submit button?

It looks like this on the app (I didn't bother asking for much, I've been at their "maximum exposure limit" for a while now):

For poops and laughs! For poops and laughs!
