@Anonymous wrote:Hey Everyone,
First time on these forums. I have read a bunch of threads and finally decided to ask some questions.
I just opened up a military checking account with NFCU. Which credit card do you guys recommend that I open first?
I have 765 FICO-EQ. My other cards are: Paypal/Synchony-9.6K, Citi-8.1k, AAFES Starcard-7.3k, BofA Visa-5.5k
Thank you!
The two most popular are the Flagship Signature Visa or the nCashrewards. The first one is better if you travel a lot as it rewards you in points that you can redeem for travel. There are items that you can use your pints for but that seems to be the best value for the points The nCashrewards gives you cash back as a reward. So it really comes down to which meets you're style and preferences better. Also don't forget to apply for the Navcheck LOC after you get aporoved for your first card. Welcome to the NFCU family and thank you for your service.
Thank you for your quick responses!
NFCU approved me for $25k CashRewards and $15k LOC!!
I am soo glad I made the jump. I have been contemplating for months!

Great Congratulations!
BMW sounds wonderful, but I think the Nissan Altima is more my speed CA: Since I now have a car loan, checking, savings and credit card with them (all in a little over a week), should I wait awhile before hitting them up for the LOC?

based on that you would be good to apply for a 2nd card if interested.

That's what I thought and then got 'Denied!"
That might not be a bad Idea. I was thinking of applying for a Barclay card or AMEX or another card with a potential for high limit.

Id do Amex before Barclay but since Amex is EX and Barclay is TU and Navy was EQ... you could apply to both!
