@Credit Addict
I am not sure I received your opinion on my previous question. You have suggested to ask for an increase over $25k with HP and pay stubs with a single card as opposed to apply for a 2nd card. My question is why this better than the 2nd card?
Both require a HP 2) Max credit is $50K. either a single CC ($80K for Flagship) or 2 CC with $25K each. with SPs up to $25K again.
I dont see why one is better than the other. What am I missing?
@Anonymous wrote:Hello all. I wanted to add to this topic with my experience. I opened a new membership with NFCU on 2/13/15. I then applied for a cashRewards on 2/17 and NavChek on 2/18. I got the famous further review was needed so I thought for sure I was going to be denied. I got a message 24 later stating they needed me to provide 2 pay stubs and a recent non-NFCU bank statement. I went ahead and submitted the docs. Found out today I was approved for $5k LOC and $14K on the cashRewards card. I didn't think to apply for the full $15k on the LOC since I didn't want to seem greedy. LOL
I sent a secure message asking if they can bump it from the $5k to the full $15k. Now the waiting game again. They HP my TU which is sitting at 688.
UPDATE: So I was told the limit could not be changed from what they have already approved. So I could either apply for a new loan for the full amount or accept the $5k and then apply for a CLI once the LOC was active. So I signed the promissary note, sent it in, LOC activated. I then asked this morning for a CLI for the maximum. They came back within minutes and countered $14,500. Really! Just give the extra $500 and call it good. LOL. I took the $14,500. So I'm sitting at $28,500 with my cashRewards and LOC; and this with being a brand new member. I'm loving NFCU already!

I'm with you... REALLY $500! LOL but that's great... congrats!
@CA - I have been reading this thread and was wondering what I should do with my NFCU CC's. Currently have the Cash rewards @ $22k($3k to be paid off before 3/31) and the Flagship @ $5k ($0 balance):
1. After AR ar EOM, should I request a CLI of $25k on my Flagship OR,
2. Request $50k on Cash rewards to see what they counter?
My income this year will be $200k+
TIA for your guidance.
Thanks CA - after the AR at the end of the month correct?
