Congrats Chris! Navy is awesome!
@tiger_uppercut wrote:Thanks for the info, Chris0321. Thinking about applying for a Cash Rewards card myself. I was going to garden for the rest of the year at which point all my baddies will be gone, but I think I might just pull the trigger since it seems like I'd be approved. Then I could just grow the CL.
Very best of luck to you if you decide to go for it! Keep us posted!

You're making me think I've started my St. Patrick!s Day drinking early with that signature line. Up , down, up. Makes me dizzy :-)
I wonder what I should request next month.
Maybe 20K? Think they'll give me that with 41K W2 income?

HAHAHA! I KNOW! It's just there to torment you, Irish! It does go well with your name though! ND fan?
Seriously though, I can't figure out what the heck is the matter with the stupid thing, but I can't seem to fix it to save my soul! I'll gladly take suggestions!

Nixon, go for the $25k. Why not try it and see if they don't love you enough back? Or maybe they'll counter, but perhaps you'd get more than the $20?

Yes, I'm an ND fan. I'm an alum. I'd have to see the code you have but it could be the images themselves
I'm MAD a NFCU.
Nowhere on these posts do ppl mention that the HP gets done when you apply for memberhip.
not when you apply for a product. Weird when I applied I dont remember the site saying they were going to do a HP.
HMPH.
@Chris0321 wrote:NFCU has definitely been good to me. With where my scores are right now and having been a member for a whole whopping 2 days, i not only got the nRewards for $7K limit, but they also refinanced my truck loan and cut the interest rate in half. They are definitely more member friendly than USAA. I would recommend them to anyone.
Congrats! I'm baffled by NFCU sometimes. I've been a member for almost 20yrs and I had to recon to get my unsecured CC through them. Got it with a 3k limit and my scores were slightly higher than yours at the time. I'm mid 600's now and my 5th statement cuts this month so I'm going to give it a shot.
