Nowhere on these posts do ppl mention that the HP gets done when you apply for memberhip.
not when you apply for a product. Weird when I applied I dont remember the site saying they were going to do a HP.
HMPH.
They do indeed pull not only one, but two CR. I got 3 inquiries from them when I opened, one for membership, one for navcheck and one for CC. The membership one baffled me.
They pull on both TU and EQ, at least here in FL. Funny thing is that the first CR to post the account was EX.

very few credit unions don't HP for membership.
and navy just HP's for membership and every product you apply for... at least some credit unions will use same pull for 30-90 days for everything.

+1. I'm in Florida as well. They pulled my TU (2x) and my EQ (1x) for membership and a Flagship.

Well, In Southern California, it was the exact opposite. TU for Membership and two more from EQ for Cash Rewards and NavCheck. Still happy though.
@smarzig: I guess I was lucky. They HP me for membership and they were up front with this information. They also said there would be a second HP for the cc but to my surprise, they only pulled one EQ for the membership.
Is there a particular cycle that NFCU does SP's? I've read three months but is that the same schedule for everyone or is everyone's SP different based on the month they gained membership?

It seems they recently started doing bi-monthly
Is that right? So then did they pull again in late Feb instead of waiting until late March? I can see where the sp me on 30 Dec but I don't have access to see any others since. My last CLI was 18 Sept and I was thinking of trying again after the late March sp since it will have been 6 mos. I'm at $25k now on my Flagship.
