I agree.  I think applying for a CLI on the LOC when carrying a balance for a while is probably what kept them from bumping it more.  The fact that they actually still offered you $500 is a good sign.

It's not shooting yourself in the foot for taking a HP and not the new account. The new account hurts worse than the HP.

Hi, everyone  

I jus did the 25k ask on cc and was appr. I think maybe a we ago...fast forward DW did the same,got 24hr review then she notice double acc. On here log in screen her limit was on there twice...now when she log in nothing screen looks normal...no increase any idea s of what happen should she call in??? Did she get HP??? Should she request again... any help is appreciated

Does NFCU look at usage, like cap1, to give higher limit? I'd rather grown my nfcu than cap1, so should I max the 5k out and pay off monthly?
I guess im asking if anyone thinks they take that into consideration when giving cli...
