OMG...from what several others have posted on other threads, this situation is going to take at least A MONTH to get straightened out.
How were you able to apply for products without securing membership first?

Well I decided to apply for the membership over the phone and a nice rep took my information and said "welcome to nfcu" here is your access number and I then set up a checking & savings account later called to set up my online banking with another rep who walked me through the whole process. Next day appied for gorewards card and was immediately approved even got a text msg saying my card would arrive in 5-7 days. Later that eving I aooued for the highly coveted CLoc and got a "review in process" Checked personal email the next day and said approved for CLoc and promissory note would be sent out. Checked account later that day was locked out of it. Email came from them stating they needed to pieces of verification. So I sent them in immediately on Friday. No word as if yet being its the weekend guess that is to be expected. I really hope this doesn't turn into a fiasco. Should be an interesting week to say the least.
Okay so have referred several people to NFCU .... What bureau do they pull for a car loan? Does this have any impact on the LOC and CC approvals or different department? Here are some other specific questions for each of them. What are your thoughts?
1. Cash Rewards approved for $2,900, and LOC reviewed approval for $15,000. Should she request a CLI on CC or wait for useage?
2. Cash Rewards approved for $2,900, and LOC instant approval for $15,000. Should she request a CLI on CC or wait for useage?
3. Cash Rewards approved for $25,000 (instant - wow), and LOC instant for $15,000. Should she apply for a 2nd CC now?
THANKS FOR EVERYONES INSIGHT ON HERE - SO APPRECIATED

1 and 2 I would just wait.
3. either apply for 2nd card or if you don't mind sending 2 paystubs, I would ask for the max CL of the cash rewards and attach 2 paystubs on secure message.... $25k is max the computer instantly approves but you can get more through manual review.
@grayarea37
~SIDEBAR~

I opened my second NFCU account on May 2nd. Today is 90 days from that date. Got an AR on June 28th.
First card already at 24K, second card at 6K. Time to poke the CLI bear on the second card????? :-)

I could be wrong but isn't the car loan equifax? And that shouldn't have an effect on your unsecured as you're dealing with 3 different departments
Correct on EQ
A question for those who have experienced the "send in doc's for verification " to complete membership process. What has been your average turn around time for this? A rep said it would be at least 5 business days for me.
