My card was at 105 days and four statements. I'm prepared for the HP as it's the first CLI request on this card but it usually takes a day or two for me to get the 'good' news from My Fico updates....lol!!

Instant approvals are always a SP - you know it's a HP when they have to put it in front of a human (24hr message)  

Exceptions apparently exist for accounts within the first 90 days...this will be good to confirm

Thanks for the info TygerHawke, really appreciate it!

I guess with Navy, I always expect that it will be another HP as I have a savings, checking, CLOC and the two cards (both with CLI's) and it seems like I have 9 million inquiries from Navy lol!! I definitely took a HP with my first CLI request on the Cash Rewards card in January, so I assumed it would be the same on the Go Rewards.

I'm not sure I will know how to react to a SP lol!!!

I couldn't resist and apped for a Flagship card. I was flat out declined.  I think this is my sign to step into the "Garden" now and let my current accounts age.

@I am so sorry to hear that sdsoccerdad...that just kills the day...the week, and the spirit. I applied for my Flagship last month and was denied... I was crushed... I thought I might get a low sl...but not flat out denied.. I recon'ed 3 weeks later seeing if I could qualify for the rewards card instead and they replied back that had recosidered my original app and approved me for the Flagship at 9k @ 10.49%. Wow... a no HP on the recon... so you may not be completly out, but may have an issue of already having 2 cards and the bulk of your tcl is all with NFCU. Good Luck

Couldn't hurt, I waited until I got the letter saying the reason (which said I didn't qualify for a Flagship), then after 2 more weeks I was still aggravated, I meassaged them. I didn't really consider it a recon per say, main point to them was I was just trying to get a rewards card from them so I could use them more...the Platinum is not neccessarily a rewards card so I was trying to see if they would approve me for a cash or a Gorewards card.

You already have 2 rewards cards and a healthy cloc, that makes NFCU 95% of your total cl, so I'm thinking they want to see how you handle what you have first. Trust me, I understand why you app'ed, once it get's into your head, thats all you can think about.

I've recevied two 24hr messages with no HPs. 

As I stated before, I think it's because I'm applying before I'm eligible i.e. my account is too new.

6 months from date of open, if I received the 24hr message, I'd expect to see a HP.

Either that or Navy has a super secret trigger for when I apply that says "just tell him he's too new, deny it, don't pull it, the guy is CRAZY"

So i help some one with navy.Low income.Thin file, ficos in low 600. Got their membership and approved in dec 2016 for cc for $1800...They charge $1700 by feb on it and after last AR i try to cli , went into 24 hrs next thing was declined (hp) got  pissed off ,i help them app for new account 4-10-2017 and went to 24 hrs ..got declined again  and new hp.now i was really  pissed off so i tell my friends to upload 2 last pay stubs thru emsg. went into review for 24 hrs. after that boom approved 2nd card for $10200.

The Key for recon success and approval on second card was to send in paystubs.
