NFCU pulls EQ not TU for CLI (unless they're changing to Experian now from what people are saying about the AR) so what was your EQ FICO 08 score?
I'm EXACTLY where you're at and hoping for the same results in about 7 weeks. Sept-2016 I got a $25,000 instant approval on a CashRewards card and $15,000 CLOC, then I got $5,000 on a Flagship card on Dec-2016. I'm waiting until 6/24 to make it six months exactly then I'll ask for a CLI on that second card.

Did you hit max? I was concerned that since the NRewards is no longer an option to choose as a new card that I'd get declined for a CLI and they'd want me to switch to a different card.

Similar question that I asked someone else:
You say "they switched it to a gorewards card."
I also have the NRewards card....did they contact you about changing it to a GoRewards car and then just automatically increased your limit?
Should I go this route (request a switch from NRewards to GoRewards) rather than just requesting a CLI on my current NRewards?
Some say it was done on Experian on 3-30. I have had my gorewards since 1-14-17 so last night I asked for max. No instant decision and it went pending...
I wonder if it needs an AR after 90 days for an auto-decision. If so, on 3-30 the account wasn't opened 91 days.

It would definitely be wise to follow the 3 statements 90 days rule. It's not a for sure thing but that seems to be the best method.

Quick update....I did a chat with a rep through NFCU website asking about the NRewards card:
"The nRewards credit card has been discontinued as an unsecured credit card. When the nRewards credit card has a credit limit of $5,000.00 then it will be converted to the GO REWARDS credit card. We do not increase the limit just to switch to GO REWARDS account. You will have to qualify for the credit limit increase. You may request a credit limit increase at any time. Please be advised that it will subject to a hard inquiry on your credit report. Our system will periodically review your account to see if we can automatically increase your limit unless you have requested to block automatic increases previously."
that's helpful but I guess I'm still at a loss as to what my best chance would be. Just request a CLI and if it goes to pending, send them paystubs?
or just wait for the periodic review (is that the AR?) and see if they increase me automatically?
