That's encouraging. I may have to give it a shot.
I should mention that I applied a few months back when I was just randomly applying for whatever I could get. That was also before I knew my scores or had any idea this board existed. Should I give it a few months? Also how long after a hard inquiry can you recon a denial? I'd hate to waste an inquiry if I don't have to. My scores aren't great but they're certainly better than they were after a month of rebuilding.
I was approved for $1700 CC with scores similar to your current scores
AR done yet, they pull Eq correct?
Usually TU and/or EQ
@Anonymous wrote:Applied for the Platinum, I need a BT card so... I wasn't going to meet the 3k in 90 for 20,000 points.
Pulled TU (got the alert) Fico 8 is 666...
TU shows overall UTI at 9% ( It will go up to 12 once PenFed updates, not sure if this pull included 9 or 12% )
Received 24 hour message.
Got a txt 5 minutes later saying it is being reviewed.
I've had my cashRewards card for 1 year.
Started at 5k with a TU of 611.CLI Nov 2016 SP AR CLI) to 22k
Always PIF, I've put 10K on the card in a year.
PenFed CC at 33,500
Cap1 at 4K
we'll see what they say...
Looks like I was declined my second card... Booo
Guess I need to call in and see why...
Wait for the letter.. bla.. bla.. blah...
After the AR, do they do auto CLIs and/or update the offers page? Just curious. I've only done one CLI request and that was via phone and required a HP, 5k>15k. I've carried a significant balance on the card for some time but paid the whole thing off now. I've got over double that in cash in their bank. I do have a collection currently reporting (fighting that), but other than that my util is like 3%. I'm just wondering if I should hit that button or wait to see if they auto CLI.
The scores in my sig are the same from when I applied for the cash Rewards card on the same day I joined. My reports were in dispute for 6 lates from last year (*** Barclays).
The CSR did say that I would have gotten a larger SL ($1700) if it weren't for the baddies, but I was still pleasantly surprised that I was approved for anything, so you may be as well
