Somewhere in this thread I saw it mentioned that Navy has special offers like 0% APR on purchases around year-end and early in the new year. Are sign up bonuses also increased during this period?
With the changes coming to the Flagship, no doubt what card number 3 for me will be. Still looking at 3.5 months away though. Want that gold spade to see what it does for my scores.

That is usually when they do them, as far as increased sign up bonuses i'm not sure. Those seem to be pretty set from what i've seen to this point.

Those changes are the reason I asked the question about year-end offers. My CR turns 91 days next week so I'm weighing whether to apply for the Flagship as my second card after AR in September or wait until November or January. My plan had been to garden until November at the earliest so if there's an enhanced SUB that would fit nicely in my plans.

Ok; thanks for the info. Hopefully the current 30K SUB offer will still be in effect.

Those sometimes go away, but if you are a little patient, they always come back. Thing with NFCU SUBS, is they always come with a high spend required. I had to basically stop using anything else for 3 months to get mine. That becomes a bit of a PITA, and if you are passing up chances at 5% or better, there is a cost associated with it. Big Jan/Feb thing is the no fee/no int BT's. Want your balances to be zeroed out and ready for those.

I'll just stick to my original plan and wait till November at the earliest. The BT wouldn't be of much benefit to me since thankfully I'm not carrying any balances but maybe I'll splurge on that computer we're talking about in the other thread.
Anybody ever done the "Pay with points" rewards option? How long did it really take to process?
