Yeah I think I can’t ask for CLI until June because I did my reallocation and PC in January. Since the Amex was cashRewards which got a CLI in December, I probably have to wait til June for that one and July for the Platinum since I did a limit reallocation that bumped that one up $5K.

Thing is, I don’t really want a CLI on those, I would rather get a cashRewards and get the SUB but $2500 spend is a lot when I don’t have anything major scheduled so I guess I’ll just sit it out for now.

I have kind of gotten in the gardening groove myself. I am gardening for that Cash+ at least... after that all bets are off haha.

Yeah, thats actually a good plan. Im tempted to see if i could get another card, heck even the FS but i figure, if i can give it more time, say another couple months, a year, heck even 2 ,my history will be much better and as i often learn its better to get a SUB when you csn actually put spend for it.

$4000 is like 9 months worth of spend for me. Even if I paid my Comcast bill up for a year that’s only $1680 of the $4000 needed for the FS SUB. swoon.gif

Well I just got DECLINED for Flagship with a 745 Fico8 and 6 digit income and 15% ult and 1 inquiry.

CS won’t tell me why and won’t apply application to different card.

I have to wait 10 days for a letter.

Unbelievable.

First PenFed now NFCU.

I think I am officially done with credit unions!

15% utilization = $30K. That’s a lot of revolving debt and it’s likely the issue.

15% of $200K in signature = $30K.

Unless the 15% meant to say DTI?

I thought they were referring to DTI. I remember a poster who couldnt get squat from Navy for years, complained left and right about rejection after rejection. Then one day, bsm splat 25k approval on cc and so it began. I think Navy would be the only lender worth struggling for until they relent. Especially if you have financial means to support high limits.

I have seen 800 use ult in talking on other threads about paying off credit cards so I figured it was utilization but some light shined on it would be good since that seems odd for someone with the rewards setup in their sig.

Navy can do some puzzling things sometimes. I think the mistake most people make is going for the Flagship with no relationship. They seem to hold that one pretty high up the chain. It probably has to do with the huge SUB more than the UW imo.

Let me help speed it up a bit lol.

@Shooting-For-800 , can you let us know what the ult refers to in your post. Abit of confusion. Thank you and sorry for denial

15% utilization of limits

(0% interest promotion)

remodeling house

$30k sounds like a lot but it is still 15% with a 745 Fico.

I am debating on applying for different card to try again to start a relationship but I would absolutely lose my mind if I got another denial and another inquiry!

Rebuild started in 2014  -  $100k unsecured credit in 2017  -  $500k unsecured credit in 2024.
