@James_A, I think what you suggests only works if you're responding from a computer. I don't believe you have the option to quote from a cell phone or atleast I can't figure out how to do it from my Iphone?
Hold down the refresh page button to the right of the address bar and select request desktop site.
Worked like a charm, thanks Saeren!

Any time! I pretty much live on my XS Max. The laptop is too much to deal with. 😂

I’ll be dang. Who knew...

Since CLIs are usually a pull on EQ, I would wait until the BK falls for that but you can go for a second card any time. You used your existing card and then you paid it back which is exactly what NFCU wants.

Thanks Saeren! I did what you told me to get my Bk off early and it worked! Cannot thank you enough!
Last question, I’ve also paid off the rest of my credit cards. I would like the flagship, so should I wait until my new TU score posts? I’m think that’s what NFCU pulls for new cards?
Glad to hear that you were successful! I have until next year before I can start on mine and I can’t wait!
For the Flagship, keep in mind that they have to be able to clear you for a $5K limit. If they can’t, they’ll deny it.
NFCU isn’t really driven by credit scores, they’re driven by profile and their own internal reputation score which is totally proprietary. As long as your credit report meets their expectations, you’ll be set.

Hi. I’ve been following this thread for a couple of years now and want to thank everyone for your contribution and advice on here. You’ve helped this gal build her credit tremendously with NavyFed! I’ve been fortunate enough to have the trifecta with them (CR, Flagship, and CLOC) and most recently the Platinum CC.
I’m having trouble getting them to give me a CLI on my CR and Flagship. I’ve tried numerous times and have been denied since they said I’ve reached their internal max. However, they just approved for me for the Platinum with a CL of $15k. I’m so confused. Anyone know why I’m unable to get a CLI on my CR or Flagship but was able to get a new card? Any advice on how to change that? I would like to lower my util rate.
Here are some of my stats:
CR opened in 05/17 at 24K and now at 25K
CLOC opened in 05/17 at 15K
Flagship opened in 09/18 at 5K
Platinum opened in 08/19 at 15K
Current NavyFed score: 648
Income: 6 figures
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
CLIs are based on EQ and new cards on TU usually. Is your TU report cleaner than EQ? Max internal limit could well be defined by the information on a given bureau’s credit report.
Did they instantly approve the new Platinum or did it go to review? If it was instant, the algorithm could very well have overridden what a human would have decided.
