@Anonymous
Best of luck on a nice CLI!! 😉
Aloha my Navy friends! Question- Occasionly I will see people recon a starting limit or a denial and I'm just curious if anyone actually ever has success with that at Navy? It seems like usually they get the 'we stand by our original decision' message so I was just wondering!
Happy Friday Eve!! 😁

Just anecdotal, but I have never seen a success story with these either.
Hi @Anonymous
I have had success several times but also many non success, i usually just send an emessage being very and honest and clear about the relationship i have with the bank and what is on my credit report. I guess its just a situational thing.
Well, I went for it and requested 12K (roughly 3x current CL) and got the 24-hour review message. Not sure what that means..... but it does not sound good. LOL
@recoveringfrombk7 thanks for the response.
I only recall a reversal in the Navy decision when someone applied for a card and it was a denial so they decided to send in POI and other income docs to bolster their changes of a reversal but I'm not sure if it produced a very sizeable SL.
@Anonymous That is awesome that you've been able to recon successfully multiple times. Nice! Any DP's you can share would be greatly appreciated. Many have tried and not been successful, so I have always just considered it a no go. Thanks in advance! Never know when some tried and true recon techniques can come in handy!!
Yay!! @Anonymous it has been taking up to a few days right now for CLI decisions. $4K seems like the new norm but hey, I'm cheering for ya and hope that you check your dash and see $12K in a day or five lol!! Show plaidington the money Navy!!

I know I had definitely heard of recon success with navy, when I was approved for my $500 more rewards I remember searching for navy recons. I don't remember which threads I read (possibly just other pages in this thread) but I know I saw some evidence of success, otherwise I wouldn't have tried to recon. My recon was unsuccessfull (not too surprising) but it was also amidst all these Covid-19 changes.
Anyone trying to recon: Its a message that takes 5-10 mins out of your day, why not? Good luck! Hope your results are more favorable than mine!
@Anonymous
Just wanted to give you my timeframe. My 91/3 was on 8/19 for my CR. Requested a CLI on 8/19 around 330. Starting limit was 5900$, requested increase to 13000$. Got the 24 hr message. This morning my available is showing an increase of 4K. So it took just a little over 24 hours for me. I'm happy with the 4K bump
Hope you receive good news soon!
