Today was 96/3 so I pulled the trigger on card #2
I chose the Flagship even though the SUB isn't all that great....I have other plans for early 2021 and didn't want to wait until then in hopes of it returning.
I also submitted the CLI request for my original card, the Platinum which has an SL of $3000 but an APR of 5.99% We'll see how that comes back, I tested the waters and asked for more than $4000 to see if that's still a thing. I'll report back.
Thanks NFCU!

Boom!!! Another Navy strike!
Very Very nice @cashorcharge!
$20K at 9.99% is a sweet deal!
Congrats on an awesome approval!
CLI Update:
SL was $3000 and I requested an increase to $10,000....wanted to see if the $4000 CLI is still a thing....it is... that's okay!
Requested this morning, got the notification to wait 24 hours and this evening it showed up as available credit.
Count down to 6 months underway for CLI #2
@cashorcharge I am soooo happy for you!! Between the new card and the CLI, wow $24100. is pretty darn impressive for a days work lol!!
Well done my friend!

@Anonymous wrote:Question on what second card to apply for. I was approved 3 months ago for the Cash Rewards Visa Sig at $6200. I'll be closing on my house Tuesday, so I'll be applying after that. I'm leaning towards the More Rewards due to the points structure, I'm interested in points to cash back. I have a large family so I spend a lot on groceries, gas and we do travel some. Thought about the Flagship, but I don't think I travel enough for me to earn good points, plus the signup bonus for that one sucks right now. More Rewards is an Amex so I'm worried about it not being accepted everywhere, although I've heard that's changed lately. What are your suggestions?
I was approved for the More Rewards about a month ago. Its been my daily driver since. I've been loading up the points with grocery and gas stations. In my opinion it's a great card.
Something else to think about is if you're not really pressed for a new card, waiting till 6 statements cut.
You could build a little more payment history with NFCU and increase your chances for a massive limit.
I got my More Rewards back in August and I love it, but I'm also kinda thinking about switching to the Go Rewards for the World Mastercard benefits, and then just using my Amex Blue Cash Preferred, since it gets me the 6% back in both Grocery Stores and Streaming services. I want to use the card specifically for just dining with Navy Federal, but I'm still undetermined. I just feel like I would use the Mastercard benefits more than the AMEX benefits.
