Not that I've been here long, but I feel like I've seen quite a few applications/approvals for NFCU cards in the last couple days. Was there a new card/update?

Not that I know of, but apparently they tend to have some nice low/zero APR offers in January for paying off that holiday shopping debt, so maybe that's why? 
In my case, my 91/3 just so happened to fall at the beginning of December.
@Anonymous looks like lots of us we're getting new cards late summer 😂😂. Did you get your 2nd card @OmarGB9 did you go for both the CLI and 2nd card? I don't remember seeing your post. I hope you got them both!!!

I did go for my 2nd card and got approved, posted it a little ways up this thread and also an approval thread. Got a MoreRewards for $1k, which I'm hoping will grow quickly. Did also want to try for a CLI on my first card, but as someone enlightened me upthread, I can not ask for a CLI on a secured card unless I deposit more money, which I don't have at the moment. So I'm just hoping for an auto CLI at some point prior to graduation or at graduation on that one.

Indeed! However, depending on how my credit profile looks at that point, I may forgo my 3rd card until it's been 6 months and only ask for the CLI at 91/3. And I certainly hope so! That would be great!

You'll learn that Navy Federal Credit Union is a VERY popular lender on My Fico for a few reasons. So you'll see a lot of NFCU apps and approvals. It boils down to this:
- Navy FCU is by far the largest CU in the United States, so they are financially strong and competitive.
- Navy FCU has very good banking and credit card products.
- Navy FCU has competitive SUBs (Sign-up Bonuses, not the kind in the water ... lol)
... but Navy has those too! - Navy FCU has great customer service and technical interface via web or mobile apps.
- Navy is more lenient with lower scores or derogatories than many other large lenders. We often recommend them to rebuilders or newer credit profiles.
- Navy can be very generous with credit limits, especially on card 2 or 3 and as your relationship matures with them. Navy's limits can get as high as $80K across revolving accounts, much higher than many lenders will go. And they give higher limits sometimes regardless of lower incomes or FICO scores.
