Could probably ask to move limits but i think ill give Navy a breather and some more history. Just gotta figure how to bt $4100 on a $3000 card lol
I would just ask them to move limits. It's a reasonable request.
+1
Just realized that I passed the 180 day mark a few days ago since the first CLI on my Cash Rewards, I haven't been keeping up around here (just read the last few pages) the last few months but the feeling of wanting to app for another card isn't as strong as it was back in July, since as before none of them really interest me outside of the potential large 2nd card CL and I don't feel like taking a HP and getting declined or AAoA hit after my Discover and CapOne (bleh) just made it past a year, also I'm at 4/24 so I figure if I do go for a fifth card I might just try Chase at some point this year, probably in April and if not that a second Amex.
So I'm just going to do a CLI request and see if I can get 3x again or denied. Has Navy gotten more strict? Are they still doing SPs?
I'm starting to use the CR more now that my cash back match with Discover is over.
EDIT: Well, didn't wait just did a 3X request, let's see how that goes.😬

Yes indeed the CLIs are still SP. Good luck on the CLI!

Ok I got approved for a navy federal credit card on 10/14/20 the closing date for that month was 10/25/20 so that's a partial month statement plus 11/25/20 and 12/25/20 even though that's technically 3 statements its not 91 days my 91 days would be on 1/12/21 so my question is do I have to wait until 1/25/20 for 3 full statements even though it shows I have 3 statements now or can I apply for another card on my 91st day of having this card and do I apply on the actual 91st day or the day after.

Best practice is to wait for the 3rd full statement.
Congrats on the approval and yes it must 3 full statements before requesting a CLI!
