Hmmmm ... I thought a page-was-a-page-was-a-page ... didn't know it varied?? I suppose it's ten. My page 1 of the thread has message 1-10. And my page number 1599 had ten posts from Message 15981 to Message 15990, for example.

Yea 10 is the default I believe, but I changed my posts per page to like 20 or 25 I think. 10 seemed like much too little for me.

Huh, I was always bothered by it being so few at 10 a page but never thought much of it. Apparently you can change it here. Now I'm at 25 a page and we're only on 640 pages now.
