Do you remember what it said after you applied? Did it say something like "Thank you for your request"
I'm would say it went through, It can take up to a week but after 7 days might not be a good sign.
You can send them a message from mobile app or website asking about the status. Then you'll know if you were approved or not.
Thank you for the reply. Yeah I know what your saying it was hectic last week so didn't remember seeing anything after the button was hit. Saw that some got 24 hr review message yet I gather thats not always. I didn't want to take a HP and was thinking that if they got involved to check on status that it would trigger that. It seems like if there is a live body involved they rubber stamp the HP. Yeah I am factoring it has most likely not going to happen. Was thinking if I just "hit the increase" (luv) button again soon that may be a route to go.

I've never seen the 24 hr review on 3 different CLI requests. Some do some don't. My last CLI request took about 5 days, I was sweatin that one.
You wouldn't get a HP for sending a message asking about the status of your CLI. At least it's never been reported here that I know of.
If it's denied I would probably wait a couple of months to request again.
Hope you're approved for it! Good luck

@Merc1776 I'm sure you already checked but is there any chance you asked too early? Three full statements is the minimum and many times we have to wait for the fourth statement to cut since that first statement being a FULL one is not always possible.
You both bring in some interesting aspects. Say something like that happen would they say something to the effect "too early" or nothing at all? Its possiable there could something like 1 or 2 days off from the cuspid making it a incomplete "full" statement however a month ago I asked the agent about that and he said the "1st month was a full complete statement".
Update: got a denial in the mail. Reason "You have reached Navy Federal's maximum unsecured credit limit". I'm thinking because I asked for the cli before the 6th statement. Any suggestions?

@Merc1776 IME they will let you know it was too soon if that's the case and you'll see it when the snail mail arrives. Again, it's only my opinion but I never put much faith in what the CSR's "know for sure". The super great news is that since CLI's are still SP's, you will have nothing to lose by trying again. Many of us have jumped the gun too early by a day or two and if you actually have three full statements you can just try again or wait until the next statement cuts.
All of that being said, I don't think that it's unreasonable for you to call and check in and ask for a status update since it's been a week. If you were just too early with the request, you can hang up and do the request again online or through the app to avoid the chance of getting a HP by requesting the CLI over the phone. Be prepared for the CSR to tell you that you should wait six months before attempting an increase because that is always what they have told me.
Whether you get the CLI from the last request or in the future, it will come! Treat Navy right and they will sure take care of you! I will be watching for your updates with fingers crossed!

No, that sounds like they just aren't comfortable increasing your limit at this time, unfortunately. Just give it more time.
Thank you good insight yeah csr may be hit or miss the one I was talking to litterally said you can apply for CLI at any time and never heard of that "rule" yet when I did some indepth research directly from NFCU website there was a "fine print" notion that they do want to see at least "3 on time payments" before consideration. So when many say 91 days 3 full statements it is in alignment with what NFCU is say just in more detail which is always good. I know that I was about 94 days and had from what the CSR said at least 3 full statements. If I get something in mail I will let it be known. If for some reason I dont get anything I am about 14 days from next statement which could just do a re-do.
Thank you all VM from your insights
