It was on my list too, since I only have one Navy card so far and I've been gardening in-part to get more.
Speaking of more, the MORE REWARDS card SUB just got a bit sweeter though. Last year, it was worth $300 (30K points.) Then they dumbed it down to $200 (20K points.) Now it's back up to $250 at least (25K points.) And it's a very good card, depending on your other holdings.
It's been at 25k bonus points since at least November. I got mine in December.

Maybe I'm mistaken. I know I app'ed for it last July and was denied due to too many new accounts. At the time, it was 30K points. And I remembered they lowered it; I thought it went all the way to 20K points but maybe it was 25K points since the drop??

Are CLI a hard pull or soft pull for navyfed? I was recently approved for a card but want to do a CLI on an existing card, do I have to wait?

@AllZero wrote:To answer your question, CLI are soft pull if you request online or app. You may receive a HP if done with CSR. YEMV Your Experience May Vary.
Your first card was eligible for CLI at 91 days and 3 full statements from account open. Once CLI approved, you will be relegated to the 6 month interval.
Same goes for your 2nd card. CLI eligible at 91 days and 3 full statements from account open. Once CLI approved, you will be relegated to 6 month interval.
Would greatly appreciate if someone can confirm how long to wait until applying for a second card and save me the time of reading through 1,641 pages of posts. LMAO.
I had a little app spree and got NFCU Visa $3000 SLI 10.99% with income proof (1040 as I'm self employed.) Only have two other cards. TU Score around 740. I mistakenly thought I could get two cards at the same time and also applied for the NFCU Amex. Kind of eyeing the Flagship and having a tough time deciding between that and the AMEX but if it's easier to get the AMEX sooner than later, I'll go for that after whatever the waiting period is. I'm guessing possibly 91 days? Anyone get BOTH a CLI and second card at the 91 day point?

It is recommended to do the new card application first, then CLI request second at your 91 days and 3 full statements eligibility window.
Also, see message 16,405.
@Anonymous wrote:@CaptRon grats on the awesome approval! I am looking forward to your CLI update as well! I am curious about the POI request for the CLI decision. Are you self employed?
You have had some great success with your profile and we really appreciate all the DP's. Just remember that if for any reason you don't get the CLI right now (maybe due to max exposure with the $20K approval), you can always give it a couple of more months and try again. SP CLI opportunities are the best!
Enjoy that awesome new CR card!
Thank you 3rd business day after sending paystubs as requested and haven't heard from Navy since sending requested info to them. I'm thinking to call them today and inquire.
I'm not self employed. Can you expound on the max exposure comment please? I'll update when I hear either way.
Thank you!
LeilaniS, u got me thinking when you asked am I self employed as I work for my family company which has my last name but is and LLC and my pay reflects showing all the wit holding etc.
we'll see, not very hopeful at this point but no biggie especially since the gave me the Cash Rewards & great limit
I'm in the home stretch of my 13, only 7 payments left, and I already have a Navy Fed Rewards card that started out as NRewards in July 2019. Tempted to apply for another, but not sure if they would approve with open 13.
