I got my NFCU internal score on a approval letter today ..(I thought that was odd)
My Navy internal score is 330 out of the maximum of 450.
Just did a cli request on my NFCU AMEX rewards. Was at $13,700 and received $4,000 to $17,700. I requested $25,000. It was a SP.

That's interesting. Maybe I missed that on my Platinum approval mail that came with the card. But this is the first time I heard of an actual "internal score" but it backup up what I previously said about me underestimating at first the weight the bank puts on their internal data versus just your credit score/file for the CRA.
I wonder if the internal score factors in deposit account activity/balances?

@Jazee, We will probably never know how they calculate internal score (Navy Secrets) ..
I am guessing they look at many factors in calculating that score, I am quite sure deposits and activity as well as time as a member factor in to those, and probably if you have direct deposit .. as well as how and when you make CC payments.
Probably a lot of other variables that I am missing?. .. all JMHO
@M_Smart007 @Jazee I think they may bounce back and forth because I have received letters that state your INTERNAL score showed and the last few letters I had received mentioned my TU score!
I have a question for experts. I got Navy Federal credit card two months ago. I want to apply for their checking line of credit. If I do does that affect my 91/3 credit limit increase or apply for a new credit card at that time?

Hi @Anonymous , It does not affect your 91/3 ..as it is a completely separate department.
Last I knew they pulled Equifax for that product. They have really tightened up on the starting limits for the CLOC's.
Unless you are "Active Military" ... CLI's are also always a HP
Good Luck!
