CLI on card #1 Amex denied. But that's okay. Need to get these scores up more anyway.

That is awesome!!!!
This may sound like a really dumb question lol, my 1st statement with Navy, if the very first billing cycle was less than 30 days would it say that? I'm trying to determine my 91/3 date.
CR's say it was opened 4/10. My due date is the 4th of every month and closes on the 7th of each month.
So I'm not sure if April will be considered a full statement or if I'll need to wait an extra month.

Your statement cuts on the 8th, so that gave you a full, 25-day+ billing cycle for April, your first month.

That is nice that they gave you a ful credit for your first month. I wonder if any other NFCU members have applied close to the 10th of the month and received a full month cycle on their first statement cut. I found out they cut me short my first statement cut. Mine was approved on teh 10th of feb, payment due date the 28th of the month but my cycle does not cutoff until the third of the month. I called NFCU rep, they told me that i surpassed the 91 days, but I know I did not have a full 25 day statement cut 3 times only twice. So I will need to wait until June for the true 91/3 rule.
My Navy Platinum was approved 12/18, closing date 1/12. I got full cycle credit.

@Anonymous, I researched this because I wanted to know the best days of the month to recommend applying for the secured nRewards card, so folks don't have to wait longer than 91 days for the application of a new CC or to request a CLI, and graduate in 6 months, not 7. I admit I focused on the secured card, not Navy Fed's unsecured CCs. I've seen a few DPs now where unsecured CCs didn't hold the same pattern as the secured card, but I don't have many DPs in the first place. I applied for a Navy Fed unsecured card on a date in what I think is a sweet spot for the secured nRewards card (17th to the 21st), and I got a short billing cycle my first month, instead.
Not many people post the exact date they were approved for the nRewards card and the date their first statement cut, but the ones who applied early in the month or late in the month had short billing cycles their first month. FWIW, someone posted an nRewards card approval on the 10th of the month and got a short billing cycle the first month.
