The approval date. But usually, the third full statement you still have to wait for is past the 91 day threshold anyway.
I made my first purchase with my cashRewards card yesterday to use about $100-115 and plan to PIF and then put a small balance on it the first month for reporting and PIF on that too. Just wondering if it's possible to get a CLI on this card after the 3 statements or is it best to just go for another card instead after that time? I also know what my internal score is with NFCU and I'm surprised it's as high as it is. I'll double check the letter I got for exact details.
Yep I was early put it through this morning just got it cash rewards raised from 4500 to 8000, I then changed to flagship from cash rewards and got my apr knocked down from 17.99 to 9.99 ![]()
Said fico Friday , put in my last request cli on CR tonight. Waiting to see see on Plat #2 as well. Nothing ventured Nothing gained
. 99% sure will be no but that 1% might make me retire from this credit game
. Here we go!
I put in for my platinum card right after the approval for the cash rewards haven't heard anything yet but I'm sure there is limited underwriting at night lol
I have a NFCU question regards to the N rewards secured credit card . I have had this card 10 months now and it has not gradutated as of today . I also have the cash rewards card now 19 months now (received 3 cli's on card) . Both accounts were always paid on time and has never gone over the limits . I leave a small balance from time to time for credit reporting purpose but nothing more than 15% . My Credit score has gone up 80 points since the 1st card and No lates or baddies in the last 3 years (rebuild) with 3% utililation across all cards .

Starting Score: 500Any Advice for me on the above situation with the nrewards card ? Should I close it and wait until I prequalify for one of their other cards ?

I'm sure others more knowledgeable will chip in with more sound adivce, but I will say from reading in these boards, is to be patient and continue what your doing, don't cancel, and Navy will reward you for it.

I'm curious...why did you get a secured when you already had an unsecured with Navy? Usually people (such as myself) have to do it the other way around. I would have never bothered with the secured had I been approved off the bat! Lol
I know when other's secured graduated they usually apply for 2nd card then. Not sure if you can PC a secured to graduate it and if so, if that would initiate a HP on your reports. Would like to see what others say as well.
DH got a 10k Platinum about a year ago at the lowest interest rate. We did a BT to the Platinum last year, and that's it. Asked for a CLI yesterday, just saw he got approved for a $4K increase.
