New to me from Cap1

I got a CLI on exactly my 1 year mark.  (after getting one at the 6 month mark in credit steps)

I requested a CLI again online (wishful thinking) a few weeks after my CLI and got the instant denial, would receive a letter in the mail.

Got the letter in the mail, normal you need to wait 6 months message.  Then about 4 days after that I get an email from them that looks very near to the credit steps.

Might not be new news but it was to me Smiley Happy  I already figured id get another 500-1000 after another 6 months but getting a confirmation from them was kind of nice!  Or this is their way of telling me to stop wasting paper on CLI attempts and just wait Smiley Tongue

Kirkomatumbo Ozark King,

We want you to get more from your credit card. And while you recently received a credit line increase, there’s a way you can access an even higher credit line by January 2016.
Your clear path to a higher credit line
Increase your credit line to
$2,000
by paying at least $100 or your current balance on time for your next six monthly payments.
There’s nothing to sign up for. The countdown to your higher credit line begins with your next payment, which is due by July 12, 2015.

Re: New to me from Cap1

I had a card in credit steps and I never seen anything like that before, but then again I always pay more than $100 every month. This is interesting because I received a very large CLI for credit steps and I wonder if my consistantly large payments were the reason? Thanks for sharing this, hopefully it will help others receive CLIs as well.

I think that's the message I got from them when I used to hit that button too much.  Stopped and will only hit it once every 6 months.  Smiley Wink

LOL... maybe they're saying, "you want a CLI and we want more money; pay us more each month and we'll give you a CLI"... that's funny Smiley Very Happy
