Hi welcome to the forum but just as an fyi if you have a question about applying for a specific card you should post it under the applications subforum. Also noticed you posted about it twice, also against forum guidlines.
OP, welcome to the forum. Please continue the discussion with your original post here:
Credit card Approvals is reserved for new account approval/credit limit increases. Also please refrain from creating duplicate threads on the same topic.
Hello and welcome.
I don't have any experience with Wells Fargo except as an add-on to checking account for my Grandmother in case she needs anything,. But I would say, based on your post of history, accounts and scores, you should have a pretty good chance. Amex is one of the easier cards to get IMO, and a cobranded one even better.
I do get the offers for WF Propel, but I have no need for it. Look at the interest rate they offer you in the paperwork. If it's one rate, that may be a good sign of approval. If a range of rates, that may be iffy. Also may depend on whether or not anything has changed on your CR since they mailed offer. As always YMMV, but if it is a card you are really wanting, go for it.
Wells Fargo seems like they are a little on the conservative side, but your existing relationship will probably help your odds. Creditpulls shows approvals all over the board, and they seem willing to start you with a low limit and let you work up. I'd say go for it, and be prepared to call their recon line and see if you can get a human review if you're initially denied. I had to do this with my Cash Wise because they gave me a really low starting limit and I got them to bump it up pretty significantly.
Good luck, let us know how it goes!
