It had been suggested to me that if I didn't get an answer on Monday that it was almost certainly a decline, so by Monday night I had given up.  (Note that I believe at one time this was true... things seem to be taking longer now with NFCU than they once did so old expectations might not be reasonable any longer.)

I don't believe it was first-thing Tuesday that I checked... actually due to my schedule I'm fairly certain it was after lunch.  I really only took a look "for the heck of it" and that's when I saw the CLI.

That your's in still 'in process' would seem like a good thing... I'm still hopeful for you!

Thanks i was looking for your thread from then but couldn't find it, yes she said it was still processing and could take up to 2 business days . So im still holding out some hope ! Thanks for the response!

Also I forgot to mention I think my income will play big role as I'm a Stay at home mom and my fiancé is our income ,.they did ask about this when I was approved and ask if needed could I show my bank statement which I said yes ,.but im not sure if that will be a reason to be denied a cli , but it's what I'm worried about .

Statement cut yesterday so figured I had a good chance. No CLI since i received the card, 2 years ago and hit the cli button this AM. IIRC last time i did this (summer), I also did not receive any news either from message or letter so I will take this as a No Go. Guess I will try again the first of the year.

Right i agree..they cant talk about that via message has to be a letter.

Don't give up so easy ORKO , try to recon if it's not approved , recon has proved to work for many and being that you have had this card 2 years and never gotten one you should get one , unless there are other reasons why you would not be approved ?

I asked on the other thread, but I don't think anyone's on there right now...

CA had said and garagebandking confirmed that you could joing NFCU on-line  now using the Navy League..that NL was an option on there now. But when I tried to do it earlier today, there was nothing but the standard military, family sort of options. I did a chat and she said that you had to email or fax your membership apps in using NL.

Am I in the wrong spot or are they not doing it anymore? Just went on the site and started the membership app...pretty easy

I too have the cash rewards card since June of this year. I pif every month to date & I was declined a cli when I applied about a week ago. Got the letter in the mail today stating the reasons why: length of acct history/activity & bk on file.. funny because they had no problem approving 2 mos out of bk but they decline the cli on a 5mos old acct... BUT it's okay, I'll happily wait until after the December AR because by then I would have 6 statements with them. EQ score on the letter was 641.

Regardless I'm still very happy with NFCU! They might have declined the cli but they approved the CLOC for 5k 😀
